Hopedale, IL – (March 13, 2008) Hopedale Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, located within the Hopedale Wellness Center, is proud to recognize Jordan Zimmer as February’s Student Athlete of the Month for his accomplishments in academics, community service, and athletic performance. Jordan Zimmer is a senior, two-sport athlete for Delavan High School who participates in basketball, baseball and maintains a 4.0 GPA. Jordan capped off his senior basketball season with 2045 career points scored and scoring a career high 44 points in the sectional semi-final game. Jordan is involved in a variety of other extra-curricular activities and community services which includes volunteering for church suppers, canned food drives, Red Ribbon Week, and crossing guard. He is also a blood drive volunteer, DARE role model, church usher, church board member and a volunteer for the St. Jude Telethon. Delavan Athletic Director, John Wiser, states that “ Jordan is an outstanding young person who happens also be an outstanding young citizen, the valedictorian of his class, a school student body leader and an incomparable student-athlete.” Congratulations to Jordan for your accomplishments in academics, community service, and athletic performance.
