The late Dr. Rossi Sr. planned a safe and comfortable environment for seniors; Hopedale Commons fulfills this dream!  Hopedale House opened in 1965, with Hopedale Commons West and Commons East added in 1994 and 1998, respectively.

Forty personalized services supported by the Hopedale Nursing Home, access to the Hopedale Medical Complex's Midwest Vascular Institute, professional medical care and emergency services right next door, excellent physicians, and a beautiful 34,000 square foot Wellness Center for rehabilitation and exercise are just a few of the reasons why so many people want to live at Hopedale Commons.

Residents also have the opportunity to join in on the fun with the Fourth of July Parade, and enjoy entertainment by the Central Illinois Banjos Club and Olympia High School Madrigals. Volunteers are always available for shopping trips, bingo and other one-on-one activities.  Additionally, we celebrate every resident's birthday.

Assisted Living - Commons West

In addition to all the amenities already mentioned, residents of Hopedale Commons West, assisted living, enjoy private, spacious apartments, three healthy meals with home-baked bread and desserts daily, bathing and dressing assistance, medication reminders, and personal transportation services to appointments within the Complex.  A caring staff who truly enjoys helping older people is also available 24 hours a day to assist with residents' needs.

Activities are planned three times per day. In addition, an exercise program is offered six days a week, and residents can join their friends for frequent bus trips or at the on-site beauty shop.

Independent Living - Commons East

Independent living residents of Commons East enjoy eight personalized services: visits from your personal physician, three healthy meals with home-baked bread and desserts seven days a week, utilities, cable, transportation to appointments on campus, weekly housekeeping and personal laundry, weekly bed linen changes, and other daily activities including Sunday church services.

Additionally, short-term respite services are available for family members who need to be away from their loved ones for a short period of time.

Short-Term Stays
