In keeping with our support of education of the youth in our area communities, and encouraging them to enter the important fields of healthcare and agriculture, Hopedale Medical Foundation is proud to have awarded nearly $400,000 in healthcare and agricultural scholarships to high school students and college freshmen since 1980.
Students from Olympia, Tremont, Delavan, Hartsburg/Emden, Deer Creek/Mackinaw, Midwest Central and Morton high schools are eligible to apply!
Awards are made by an independent panel of judges not associated with HMC.
Selections are based on the following criteria:
- ACT/SAT scores
- Class standing
- Applicants narrative
- Community extra-curricular involvement
- Financial need (optional)
- Counselor's recommendation
- Other favorable recommendations
Applications are usually accepted at the beginning of the year.
