Hopedale Medical Complex is pleased to offer a modern sleep disorders center. The center opened in December 2003 and is located in the peaceful and homelike setting of the apartments located in Hopedale Commons East. Our sleep disorders center, is a member of the National Sleep Foundation and is staffed by experienced technicians who are focused on, professionalism, while offering you the comforts of home. The apartments used for sleep testing allow for the best possible environment for clinical data to be gathered, while you sleep comfortably, with out the “clinical” or sterile environment. Sleep is a crucial part of our health and wellbeing. Surveys conducted by the National Sleep Foundation reveal that 60 percent of adults report having sleep problems a few nights a week or more. In addition, more than 40 percent of adults experience daytime sleepiness severe enough to interfere with their daily activities. Sleep apnea increases the risk of a cardiovascular accident, high blood pressure, even death.
